I recently bought a new mountain bike specialist, and later told me I could save a lot of money if a mountain bike instead because it can be done, the giant of Giant personnel. Is that true?

Specialized Merida will be built by a huge competitor in Taiwan. Part of the confusion comes from several years ago, when the giant used Horst Link NRS bike race. Specialized has to pay for a patent on the Horst link, and Giant, a fee to use the design.

Maybe. But I think the design of bicycles and specialized manufacturing contracts Giants anyway. Giant is not with the specific designs for its own brand.
For example, some specialized mountain bike down tubes curve. Never a giant!
Do not worry. Specialized Bicycles are among the best in this price range!
